Does anyone recognize the creatures eyes? If so, you are a rock star C.R.A.F.T. reader. If not, you’re cool too, but here’s a hint…

Yep, those owl eyes are straight from the heart of this neck roll pillow. I decided I was tired of it about a month ago, and took it apart. You know how I like to tweak things all the time, sometimes I even like to mess things up! (Maybe the BF knows what he’s talking about with the whole Luna thing!)  I saved my patches and the crusty old pillow pillow. Don’t worry, I reused both for the cute little rick rack owl! One last question…. Have you ever cut open a pillow? It’s fun! And perfect for stuffing plushies…no need to buy fiberfill!

Needless to say, I really just wanted to share my excitement that I made this owl with a PATTERN. Kate let me be a pattern tester, yep, me! It’s a miracle. I’m experienced with a sewing machine and a B+ mender, but my pattern skills are a big fat F. It’s bad, I know. I’m not good at following directions.
