Our amazing C.R.A.F.T. printable contributor, Vanessa, is back with another awesome printable for us! Last month, she whipped up a “Smell the Roses” printable to ensure that we were enjoying our last days of summer! Today’s printable is well, happy! It reminds me of the happy song printable I made for Maxwell’s nursery! It’s bright, fun, and is sure to make any blank space in your house feel a little well… happier! I love that Vanessa made it to brighten her mood since her first born is off to Kinder this year. I can’t imagine what a disaster I’ll be when my sweet Max baby is old enough for school!
You might wonder what this “Think Happy” free printable has to do with back-to-school. Well, I’m sending my first born to Kindergarten this year and quite honestly, I’m a weepy mess! Rationally I know that he’s totally ready to go to school and will have a great time with his teacher and new friends. Emotionally, though, I can’t stop thinking about the first second I laid eyes on his beautiful face, the same face I won’t be able to see for 7 hours a day during the week. *sob*
I’m trying really hard not to be that mother on the first day of school. You know, the one who completely loses it and becomes a blubbering mess? I’ve started using this “Think Happy” mantra to remind myself of all the amazing times I’ve gotten to share with my son and celebrate all the ones that have yet to come. Sure I’m going to miss the heck out of him but I’m also really excited about this new chapter in his life story. I made this “Think Happy” free printable as a visual reminder to think positively on the first day of school and every day thereafter. Thought you guys would enjoy it too!
