Fish: Toilet paper roll crafts

F is for fish! This toilet paper roll craft is a little different than the anteater, beaver, cat, and dog. I’m getting crazy, y’all!

Here’s what you need to make the TP tube fish:

• 1 toilet paper roll
• Scissors
• Single hole punch
• Pencil
• Sharpie marker
• Glue
• White scrap paper

First, lightly squish the toilet paper tube flat. Then use a marker to draw on the fish lines and cut out your fish with scissors. Once you have the fish shape cut, add the fin and gill details with the marker. Then use the hole punch to make a single white eye, and voila… fish!

Now, what to make for “G”? Goat? Giraffe? Any other fun ideas?

• There are over 30,000 known species of fish? How many can you think of?!
• Although jellyfish and crayfish have the word “fish” in their name, they are not actually fish!
• Tuna can swim at speeds up to 43 mph! Wow!
