How to make Pretzel Valentines for kids
It’s also fair to note, that these pretzel Valentines could be attached to a sandwich bag filled with stick pretzels too. Here is an option to make a DIY pretzel Valentine without a printer.
Step 1- Download the free printable Pretzel Valentine
To download the “Stick with me, Valentine” printable just enter your name and email address below and the free file will be delivered to your inbox! The stick pretzel Valentines come 4 to a page. Each free printable is 1 sheet and with this saying:
- Stick With Me, Valentine
Step 2- Print
For best results, use white card stock to print the pretzel valentines.
Step 3- Cut & Fold
Cut around each Valentine. You will end up with 4 Valentines per sheet. If you decide to print at a commercial store, be sure to use their paper cutter to make this step faster and more accurate. Next, fold each Valentine in half to create a bag topper. The Valentine perfectly fits the top of a 1 oz Cheeto bag.
Step 4- Staple
Use a stapler to secure the Valentine bag topper to the bag. I also use this step to secure the ribbon or twine to the bag topper with the stapler. You could also use double sided sticky tape for a cleaner look.
Step 5- Address & Share
Have your kiddo fill out the form on the front of the printable with who the Valentine is from. Last but not least, share the Cheeto Valentine’s Day love with friends and neighbors!
If you don’t have a printer at home, you can absolutely make these pretzel Valentines by hand. Just grab a 4×6 notecard and hop on over to this DIY Valentine idea for kids.
