mom inspiration week!
my mom is very crafty and wonderful and fun and the best mom in the world!
she does BIG crafts like
tiles, wallpapers, stencils, busts out cabinets, and paints everything!
Mom Inspiration #1: Stencils
My crazy mom stenciled the entire dining room. YES. i did say stencil.

Don’t mind the Christmas decor…these are the only before pictures I could find!
A F T E R:
This took her a few days…but it makes such a DRAMATIC difference…she used a flat and a gloss paint… and added white to the gloss to make it lighter…so the effect is subtle…
This effect is done over wall paper.
[my mom always paints over outlets and light switches!]
Also, my brother added the chair rail on top of the wall paper, and added the inside boxes also on top of the wall paper. Then, painted all of it the same color as the trim.
