How to cut your own air vent
Cutting your own air vent is easy! All you need is a tool to cut cardboard.
Step 1- Buy an air vent a tad bigger than you need
We buy a 16 x 25 air vent. It is the closest thing at Home Depot to the size we need.
Step 2- Measure
Measure and draw a straight line. Then, cut to make the air vent fit the exact dimensions you need.
Step 3- Cut & remove
Use an X-ACTO to cut the cardboard edges of the air vent. Then, remove the excess card board.
Step 4- Clean up
Use your hands to stuff the excess fluff back into the cardboard edges.
Step 5- Add air freshener
Re attach the air vent to the ceiling!
Aren’t we cute 🙂
The house smells delicious. I’m not going to lie, the flavor was super intense for about 3 days. It’s been 2 weeks now, and the smell is subtle and lovely. How do you feel about air fresheners? What is your favorite scent? Do you have a favorite air freshener brand (I have a car scentsy thing I LOVE)? Do you have to DIY your own air vent? I would love to hear your thoughts on scents and vents.

Another mixed relationship! Good luck.
DH and I are both Ags. Harmony in the sports arena. LOL.
I don't use scented things but if you like it, go for it.

Janet and The Johnson family– it is an Aggie ring 🙂 The BF is an Aggie, I'm a Longhorn! People ask him about it everywhere…even in China! Are you both Aggies?
The Elliots– thank you for the tip about filtersnow.com! I'm going to add that to the post!

brilliant! i wonder if you could spritz them with aromatherapy or essential oils too? with just the right impact? hmmm… this would be more effective than my scentsy plug in! haha

I thought I saw an Aggie ring too! We use these and we get the tropical scent. It is true that it is so intense, almost to the point of nauseating, but it is really nice for the next month or so!

We used to live in a house with a weird filter size and just started ordering them from filtersnow.com. Order a six month supply and younalways have a filter and they can set up automatic shipping.
