Note: This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of BABYBJÖRN’s Baby Carrier One.
First, I promise this blog is not turning into a mom blog all about my little bambino, for that, you can follow me on instagram, ha! But, since I’m now officially 6 months pregnant, and I had to register, and I even have one official baby shower planned, I’m trying to figure out all of these baby contraptions and what I really need. I figure some of y’all are in the same boat, so since I’m an over-sharer by nature, I’m spilling the beans about the BABYBJÖRN Baby Carrier One today. I’m all about simple, and you can use this sucker from newborn to 3 years old (or 33 lbs). That’s why they call it the One, since it’s the only one you’ll need! Oh and just for the record, I can still officially see my toes and my belly button is basically still an innie. It kind of pops in and out, which super creeps me out, see:
If you’re new here, check out these posts all about baby Dorobek and the DIY nursery: Spilling the beans, 10 nursery must haves, Painting the igloo, Bambino gets a crib, and the great rug hunt. The nursery is not complete, but that’s the story so far!
Since Andy and I are baby newbies, I decided it would be a fun game to just hand him the device and see if he can figure it out. This little test will really determine how easy this sucker is to use. I handed him the thing, he inspected it, and then put over his head like a sweater. Then, the little manual just happen to pop out, perfect timing! The mini manual is attached to the front of the carrier and shows you all 4 ways to wear it.
You can see mama, baby, and BABYBJÖRN Baby Carrier One in action in this video. She’s impressive, you have to check out the front to back switcheroo starting at :45 sec! You can put the baby on your back all by yourself. I feel like I’m gonna need to do that a lot.
Here are my favorite features of the BABYBJÖRN Baby Carrier One:
1. It folds up super small for easy travel.
2. You can use it from newborn to 33 lbs! And you don’t need an infant insert.
3. Because of the satin waist lining, you can switch baby from front to back position all by yourself. This is the only product that can do this!
4. There are four carrying options: three front carry positions and one back carry position. I’m pretty sure my baby likes options.
5. It is the first carrier from BABYBJÖRN to offer a back carry position.

I would use it on walks and to the store!

I have loved several carriers with my 5 kiddos but this one looks great! And that Kindle would be great too for keeping them busy long enough to take a shower!

I would use it to carry baby (due in four weeks!) around while I’m getting things done around the house.

I’d add it to my stash of ‘baby things’ that I’ve slowly begun collecting. A Bjorn was already on my wishlist- perfect!!

I could use that carrier for my six month old. (As much as I love my Moby wrap, it can be a pain to put on!)

So much cooler than my old bjorn! I would use this for my little man who hates the stroller but can’t walk for long periods of time.
