Meet Earl the squirrel:
As cute as Earl is… he was destroying my little jade plant.
I decided to go with the flow, feed the squirrel and save my plant! So, the BF whipped up a little recycled Earl House.

There were no plans for an Earl house…he just sanded and drilled and made do with the project leftovers from around the house…
We used 12 leftovers pieces of wood and a drill.
I spray painted the house white and used a sharpie to create the squirrel “hippie house”!
Earl thinks he is hiding from me.
Earl is very proud of his first home. The wood grain print and chevron columns makes for a very fancy house!
UPDATE: Part 2– I brought earl’s house home for Easter and my mom renovated… I even learned how to make shingles 🙂 And here and here are Earl updates.

So cute, EARL…hahaha! I need one of these. We've got so many squirrels that hang out on our patio. My boys named one Spider Man because he was climbing our screen door one morning =) Oh squirrels, you gotta love em'
