I recently showed you how I made crepe paper flowers. Welp, I have moved on to felt. Flower making is fun, y’all!
Materials for making felt flowers
- felt
- scissors
- needle
- thread
- hot glue gun
Step 1 – Cut
Cut your felt into strips. My strips are about 1 1/2 inches wide and 8 inches long. I think you could make these as big as you want.
Step 2 – Cut fringe
Use fabric scissors to cut fringe into each of the strips. Leave at least 1/4 of an inch at the bottom
Step 3 – Roll the felt
Roll your felt strips up to form a flower.
Step 4 – Sew
Use your needle and thread to sew the bottom of your flower together.
Step 5- Adhere
Attach your cute little felt flowers to anything you’d like. I used a hot glue gun to adhere these little guys to a wood frame.
or string them on fishing wire and use as garland!
Have you ever made felt flowers? I’d love to hear…

I just made some of these the other day w/tissue paper and they look the exact same..except I was not genius enough like you to think of an easier way to make them!! your looks much more doable. I made one and was like "ok, i'm done!" I might have to try this! Thanks!
