Christmas C.R.A.F.T. #3:
materials: Old T-shirts/ sweaters/ scraps of fabric, scissors, P A T I E N C E, wire hanger, ribbon
This project was F R E E…a true C.R.A.F.T.!
First, shape hanger into a circle:
Start cutting out circles, they don’t have to be perfect. You need L O T S. [this is where the patience comes in!]
I folded 3 circles in half and cut a small slit in them. Then, slipped each circle onto the hanger.
I added ribbon to the very top of my wreath, and hten made a bow out of left over t-shirt
Side View:
Every 30 or so circle I tied a scrap piece of t-shirt to act as a spacer…You can see a red tie in the side view picture.
What do you think?!
If you like this simple, modern Christmas decor, you will love my single strand of lights Christmas tree that lives on your wall!

I love this and I would really love it if you would link this upcycled craft to my linky party http://tinyurl.com/upcycled23.
I would have never thought of using t-shirts to make a wreath but it makes so much sense.

Or maybe add some jingle bells as spacers, or wire in some small ornaments, or make ornaments from other scrap fabric and add to the wreath… let the embellishment ideas flow!

I think you have the patience of a saint, lol.
I also think that's really cute and I want to try it but in funky colors of felt…

Very creative! I have tons of old T-shirts and have already made a two-sided T-shirt blanket, so this is looking like my next project for recycling my old shirts. Thanks for sharing and Happy Holidays!
