Do you love gummy worms? Me too! Today’s valentine is sure to worm your heart! (See what I did there?) These gummy worm Valentines are a free printable, but they also involve a small DIY. Don’t worry, all you have to do is a doodle a worm! You got this.
What you need to make gummy worm valentines
- Gummy worms
- Free printable Valentine
- Tiny plastic zip lock bags
- Stapler
- White card stock
- Black pen
- Scissors
How to make Gummi worm Valentines
Step 1- Download the Valentine
To download the “You wormed your way to my heart”” free printable Valentine, just enter your name and email address below and the free file will be delivered to your inbox! The Gummi Worm Valentines come 6 to a page.
Step 2- Print & cut
For best results, print out the gummy worm Valentines using white card stock. Then, use scissors to cut around each shape.
Step 3- Doodle worms
Next, use a thin black Sharpie marker to doodle worms on the rectangle Valentines like you see in the picture above.
Step 4- Fill with gummy worms & staple
I filled each little zip lock bag with a few gummi worms. Next, staple the tag to the plastic bag full or worms. Voila. Easy peasy.
Super easy, cheesy, yummy, and perfectly portioned for classroom Valentines! Happy (almost) heart Day!
Valentine sayings are so fun to think up. I’m convinced you can turn any thing, food item, candy, or even tool into a clever little Valentine saying! We let off on Thursday with a Play-Doh Valentine, that all the kids will love. The Play-Doh Valentine saying is, “I like to play with you!” Just in case you need more Valentine ideas, don’t miss:
