Do you…
Let me answer that for you… Yes. Yes, you do! Dremel tools are super versatile tools for DIY home projects and crafts. I got Andy the basic Dremel rotary tool for Christmas in 2009, and we have used the heck out of that sucker. So, what can you make with a Dremel anyway? Tons of stuff. Here are a few Dremel projects we’ve done:
1. Interactive travel map
we used the Dremel to cut the United States shape out of the cork board.
2. Suspended desk
Andy used the Dremel to cut the metal brackets and to route the edge of the desk.
3. Reupholster a chair
We used the Dremel with the rotary bit to cut the seat for our chair. We also used the sanding wheel to sand the seat.
You can win both the Dremel Rotary Tool Kit and the Dremel Rotary Tool Kit Tool Kit. That’s a $150 worth of awesome tools!
So, here’s the story: I entered the suspended desk in a Dremel contest on their website last fall. The winner won a giant goodie pack of Dremel greatness, a feature on the Dremel Weekends site, and goodies to give away. I freakin’ won! And now, you get to win too : )

I’ve never used one, but my husband wants one soooo bad. It’s his birthday coming up, so if I won I could score super wife points. He would use it on house remodeling. I’m sure I would steal it for crafty stuff.

I never have. My husband has and makes belt buckles out of deer and elk horns. It would be nice to our own, and stop borrowing our father on law!!! And then maybe I could make something fun too!!!
