I love Halloween! But, I also don’t like extra stuff lingering around my house. So, inexpensive, easy decorations are always my go to for any Holiday. These giant google eyes made out of paper plates are pretty dang cute and oh so easy to make! Best of all, you likely have everything you need on hand and you can toss these suckers in the recycle bin when Halloween is over. Oh and the kids can totally help make them too!
Here’s what you need to:
- Paper plates
- Black marker
- Circle stencil (I used a glass.)
This is a very complicated craft, friends! Grab a few paper plates of any size and then use a pencil to trace a smaller circle somewhere on the big paper plate. Fill it in with a black marker. Voila! Giant gogole eyes that are perfect for your bushes or trees!
After you’ve made enough sets of eyes to fill your bushes, it’s time to stick them in the bushes! And if you wanted to get really crazy, you could use glow in the dark paint to make they eyes glow at night, ahh!
Here’s another fun Halloween yard idea that you can make out of plastic bags and hangers: Yard ghosts
Do you decorate your yard for holidays?! I’d love to hear…

The google eyes are hilarious! I just showed them to my daughter who laughed out loud. I promised her we would make a bunch of them tonight for our bushes! Thanks for the idea.
