I made these bunny treat cups for my daughters 5th bunny birthday, but they are perfect for Easter too! Festive and fun and can be filled with anything. These bunny treats are perfect to handout to friends and neighbors or for Easter brunch.
Materials for bunny treat cups
- Plastic cups with dome lids
- Permanent markers
- White foam (sturdy white felts is great too)
- Scissors
- Glue gun
- Popcorn (or powdered donuts or white candy)
How to make bunny cups
My kids love kettle corn, but these cups can be filled with any treat- powdered donuts, bunny trail mix, or jelly beans to name a few.
Step 1- Cut bunny ears
Use scissors to cut bunny ears. Some of the bunny treat cups are fancy and have polka dot middles to the the ears, but some treat cups had plain white ears.
Step 2- Add bunny faces
Adding bunny faces to the cups was my favorite part of this craft. Use a permeant marker to add faces to all of the plastic cups. I made lots of different faces, but most had heart shaped pink noses.
Step 3- Glue ears to lids
Next, use a hot glue gun to glue the ears to the dome lids. I found it easiest to glue to the rim of the lid since that is the flatest part of the dome.
Step 4- Fill the cups and attach the lids
the final step for bunny treat cups is filling the cups and attaching the lids. Easy peasy!
