The dinosaur paper plate craft take a single paper plate and turns it into a dino with movable legs! Best part? All you need is a single paper plate and brads.
Here’s what you need to make a paper plate dinosaur
- Paper plate
- Paint or markers
- Q-Tips
- Hole punch
- 2 Brads per dinosaur
- Scissors
How to make a paper plate dinosaur
Step 1- Draw
Use a pencil to draw the dinosaur pattern on the plate you see in the picture below.
Step 2- Cut
Use scissors to cut out each piece of the dinosaur. After each peice is cut out, consider giving the head peice spikes!
Step 3- Paint
Paint each peice of the dinosaur or use markers if you don’t want to wait for paint to dry.
Step 4- Polka dots
If you want a polka dot dinosaur, use a Q-Tip to make dots.
Step 5- Brads
Use hole punch or a pin to pre make holes for the brads to go through. Attach 2 leg pieces with 1 brad. Consider using a brad for the tail too!
