How to Make Paper Chain Gymnasts

All you need to make paper chain gymnasts are:

2 pieces of white paper
markers
tape
scissors

How to make a gymnast paper chain

Looking for a fun gymnastics craft? These paper chain gymnasts are linked together in a straddle. And their leotards will need to be decorated! Have each member of your team make a paper chain and then tape all the gymnasts together to make one really long paper chain!

Step 1- Fold paper hot dog style

Fold both sheets of white paper hot dog style and cut along fold.

Sep 2- Tape paper together

Tape at least 2 of the pieces together to form one long piece of paper.

Step 3- Fold paper

Fold the long piece of paper into a fan shape as seen below.

Step 4- Draw a gymnast outline

Draw an outline of a gymnast on the front. Make sure your arms and legs go off of the page.

Step 5- Cut out the gymnast

Cut along the drawn line.

Step 6- Unfold & decorate the leotards

Unfold, be amazed, decorate the leotards, and add faces!
