Maxwell’s newborn pictures

Oh baby Maxwell, you make my heart smile! And these pictures are just about the cutest thing I’ve ever seen in my entire life! We used Jennifer Polson Photography for Max’s newborn session. (You can see our birth announcement post cards here.) On a side note, she is expecting her 2nd set of twins… double congrats, Jenny! I really wanted Max’s newborn session done at our house. I wanted the backgrounds to be memorable… our quilts, pictures, rugs… him in his super cute little nursery! I wanted pictures of the 3 of us in our happy space. Jenny did exactly that! How sweet is this one of Max baby on our bed! Those are our fingerprints hanging above the bed. We need to add Max’s finger print to our “family portraits”!

Ahh! Love. this. picture. Daddy and son in the glider in Max’s nursery. The crocheted blanket on the back of the chair was made by my great grand mother.

Here he is resting on his bench looking precious. (Mom and I made bench cushions and Andy made the picture ledge shelves.) You should have seen Jenny get the Max baby into these sweet little positions. I think she is the baby whisperer! I wish she could come over every night and get Max to sleep!

This is one of my really favorite pictures! My mom (Grammy) made him this little lion out of a glove. Cutest thing ever! 

This is the Austin American Statesman and The New York Times from 3-23-14, the day he was born. Look at those little glasses in his hand! Max is so intellectual, ha!

And this is a sweet little one too… We used one from this series as his birth announcement.
