With lows of 55 degrees here in Austin, I have not yet had the excitement of pulling out the unexpected $10 bucks from my winter coat pocket! That bad boy is still hanging in the closet. And in reality, for me, it’s more like a dollar bill and crusty chapstick… but I still get excited! I love finding little goodies in the mail, in my pockets, under the seat of my car, behind the dryer… you get the point. Sometimes I’m a really nice girlfriend (I really like crossing that word out, have you noticed!) fiance and put sweet notes in Andy’s pant pockets, shoes, underwear drawer (TMI?), or suitcase. I used to just hand write them on note cards or post its… but recently, I got fancy and made a few on the ‘ol computer. I just threw one in between his t-shirts when he went out of town last weekend:
With Valentines on the way, I figured I should share the love 🙂 As always, just double click, save to the computer, and print!
Do you still send snail mail? Do you love getting handwritten snail mail? Have you found anything fun in your coat pockets this year? Do tell…

New follower! Found you on Bloglovin' 🙂 I have worn my sweatshirt jacket plenty of times already (and I'm in Midland…temporarily…and they've had 2 record snow falls already this year and it's something they are not used to AT ALL!). But nothing found in my pockets this year. Well, there might be something in my heavier coats but they are packed somewhere (but I have no clue where!). Cute note ideas!

This is really romantic. I'm going to need to figure out where I can put notes to surprise my husband.

Years ago I lived in a boarding house with a number of different levels of honesty!
For those years I put money in books to keep it safe and continued to do this even after I was living on my own. I stopped doing this when I went to read a book and found $50 that I had put for safe keeping until I could pay someone for making me a dress – I had paid her after forgetting that it was there. But it made for a nice surprise.
