Kangaroo: Toilet Paper Roll Crafts

Toady in my wacky little world of toilet paper roll crafts K is for Kangaroo!

Here’s what you will need to make the kangaroo:

• 1 toilet paper roll
• Scissors
• Single hole punch
• Pencil
• Sharpie marker
• Glue
• White scrap paper
• Cereal box

The kangaroo is pretty similar to the other up right creatures, like the anteater and beaver, with one exception. The kangaroo needs a pouch of course! The pouch is simple, just cut a horizontal slit in the toilet paper tube and use a black marker to draw a tiny kangaroo head on the back of a cereal box. Then insert into “pouch”!

Oh and here a few fun facts about kangaroos:

• Kangaroos can hop around quickly on two legs or walk around slowly on all four.
• Kangaroos can not walk backwards.
• Baby kangaroos are called joeys.
• Kangaroos live in groups called mobs.
