Happy Friday, y’all! I hope you are enjoying my silly toilet paper roll craft series! I am love making them! If you (or your kiddos) make any toilet paper tube animals tag me on instagram and use this hashtag: #tptubecraft I mean kids can make them, but they are so fun to craft you’ll probably want to get in on the action too! So, we are on “E” today and E is for elephant, of course!
The elephant got 2 arms, a tail, and, of course, a trunk! The trunk is pretty simple just make sure that you do not cut the trunk all the way out at the top! It needs to stay attached to the TP roll. Then I glued the tusks to the back of the elephants head and glued the head on top of the trunk. Easy freakin’ peasy.
Oh and did you notice that his ears have hidden e’s? I’m so sneaky, ha!
And now onto a few fun elephant facts:
- Elephants are the largest land living mammals in the world!
- Female elephants are called cows.
- Elephants can swim, they use their trunks as a snorkel in the water.
- Elephants sometimes “hug” by wrapping their trunks together to say hi!
