UPDATE: These adorable kid made stepping stones were given as gifts for for Mother’s Day!
They were made using this concrete stepping stone tutorial.
I love how some of them kids put a few stones in perfect order and some just squished in as many stones as they could fit! I’m pretty impressed with these 3 year olds. Their DIY stepping stones are beautiful, and I know their mama’s will cherish them!

These are wonderful. I did the same thing with my 5th grade girl scout troop. I did not use the chicken wire but I will tell you that those 5th graders are now Juniors in college. The stepping stones my daughter made are still in my garden ( as are the ones I made while experimenting) and none have broken. Some of the stones and shells we used have popped off, however- a result of our not embedding them well enough, I am sure.
