The BF invented this carrot trick. I was trying to cut each individual carrot slice when the BF swooped in and discovered that by shaping the whole carrot first… you can cut pretty little slices, like this…
Use a knife to cut a “V” out of the top of the carrot…
The carrot should look like this:
Then use a peeler to peel around the entire carrot…
and look how fun it makes a boring ol’ salad look:
